Serendipity

Serendipity: the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for;  (Merriam-Webster)

Meaning according to me:

The feeling of being completely at bliss.

The sea, without any ripple on its surface.

The moon, shining brightly, reflecting on my glasses and blinding the person standing in front of me.

When you’re attempting a yoga asana, and you complete the pose without quivering even a millimetre.

When tears flow equally from both your eyes.

When you find that perfect position to sleep in, with the pillows perfectly supporting your head and your hands folding neatly into a pose you’ll never remember the next night.

That perfect morning, when it’s rained all night, and the air is cool and clean, the leaves are extra green, the roads cleaner than they can ever be.

The perfect outfit, where you wear everything that matches everything you’re wearing, and you look like a dream.

The moment when you take a bite of food, and it tastes exactly the way you expected it to.

That moment when you realise that ‘where you wanted to be’ and ‘where you are’ are finally the same.

When you find the song that perfectly describes you, your mood, your current situation, the problem you’re facing, the world you want to live in.

When you find it easy to let go of yourself into someone else’s arms.

When you find it easy to fall right into a story, forgetting every single bad memory, every single weird thought, every rude thing someone said to you.

Ah! Each one of that is serendipity. I loved how you got all those examples together, Mithila. Good one.
How have you been? I’m reading you after a long time. Was I the tardy one?
